Issue#1:May 5 trial set in Snyder murder case

Snyder has pleaded not guilty to charges of killing his wife and tampering with evidence.

Issue#2: Another Bank Robbed

Dover police are searching for a man who robbed the First Federal Community Bank. There has been many banks robbed over the past few months.

Issue#3: Building damage may result in tax reduction

Carroll County Auditor VanHorne had some good news for county residents. VanHorne told commissioners that any resident who has suffered damage or collapse to garages, outbuildings or their homes from heavy snows or ice recently, can notify his office and receive a reduction on their property taxes for the rest of the year.

Issue#4: Okey proposes repeal of Ohio estate tax

he has introduced House Bill 456 which would repeal Ohio’s estate tax. The measure builds on Ohio’s previous efforts to reduce the state income tax by 17 percent over the last four years, while providing additional relief for Ohio families and farmers. 

         Man this girl is crazy she is almost insane. She does some of the weirdest things you can ever think of like eating candy off of her feet and drinking her milk while standing on her head. She may look normal but once you get to know her she is a whole different person. Who else do you know that would drive there car backwards every where they go, or eat there cereal with salt water…ugh. But how does she have any friends? Only she knows. She also rides a unicycle to class everyday.. I mean who does that? When she writes stuff down it is all upside down till she turns her paper over. Her goals in life are to be the first person to parachute under water and to clone her self a million times. Seriously who would want to deal with a million of her.. At least she lives life however she wants and don’t let no body tell her what to do. About the only normal thing she does is watch movies but even when she does that she eats fried anchovies instead of popcorn…I don’t know. But evidently she does.

Since I was little I always wanted to came to Pittsburgh to see this. I dreamed of coming with my dad on a Thursday night or a Sunday Afternoon. Seeing the city and seeing all the people. Everytime I leave the city then come back through the tunnel I see it. I love looking across the river and it being there. People always say it’s a father-son kinda of thing,it’s spending time with my dad. It’s always been a father-daughter kinda of thing for us. I would always tell my dad I wanted to go, I wanted to see it in person, I wanted to hear the noise, I wanted to enjoy the excitement with the others, I WANTED to be there with my dad to see the yellow and black.

I always picture Pittsburgh as an unsafe city. I never pictured myself moving and attending college here. I am a small town girl and the city life is all new. And I’m not sure if I like it. I love the shopping, but what girl wouldn’t. The city is bigger than what I thought it was going to be. My family was unsure about me living here. Sometimes I don’t feel safe here, so I carry pepper spray where ever I go.

          Pittsburgh is really pretty at night. I love the view from my dorm window. I can’t picture myself living here once I graduate college. I come home every weekend, because I’m always homesick. I thought AI was the school for me, and don’t get me wrong I love the school, but I hate the city. I am thinking of transferring to a college in a smaller town. So I feel better about being there and safer.

  I’m a 18 year old girl, named Rickquall and I’m from a small town in Ohio. I grew up in T-County, it’s small with lots of different towns and country . I live in pretty much in the middle of no where and I love it. So I guess, I’m just a small town girl. There’s a lot of hunting and fishing where I’m from. My family lives for motocross and football. We are HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fans. We also love camping and fishing. There are tons of rednecks in my town back home.

  I enjoy spending a lot of time with my family and my boyfriend on the weekends. I have a little sister, named Beca. She is 11 years old and in the 6^th grade. I love animals. I hate a dog named Brutus, after Ohio State University’s mascot.

  Right now, I’m living in Downtown Pittsburgh, and I’m not sure if I’m liking it. The whole city thing, isn’t what I like. I love attending AI, but I hate the location. Thinking about transferring to a smaller school, that’s in a small town. But I’m not sure yet.
